Michael Jackson to appear on stage again

He will appear on stage at the concert at Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna on September 26 alongside Jermaine.
He will appear on stage at the concert at Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna on September 26 alongside Jermaine.

Details of how the late star will take part are being kept secret but organisers said it would be one of the highlights of the evening.

Speaking at a press conference at Kensington Palace in London today, Jermaine confirmed that he had also asked Akon, Stevie Wonder and R. Kelly to perform at the show.

Mary J Blige will also be flown in from Italy on the night, singers from the Middle East and Bollywood stars from India will also take part.

Jermaine also hinted at a possible reunion performance from the Jackson family at the show.

But he broke down in tears as he said that since his brother's death, his family had not had time for private mourning.

He said: "We have not had our time yet.

"We are trying to find our time just to be a family and pick up the pieces and move on but at the same time we realise that Michael didn't just belong to us anymore - he belonged to the whole world and we have to continue to give the world what they want."

And while he refused to be drawn in to comment on allegations about how his brother died, Jermaine said if his death did involve foul play, he was confident it "will be dealt with accordingly".
