The pop star debuted the tune in English on Thursday, but gave fans worldwide additional treats by dropping an accompanying five-track collection featuring the song reworked as collaborations with local artists.
For the French version, titled Appelle Ton Amour, Clarkson is joined by singer Zaz, while she teams up with Blas Canto for the Spanish Te Reto A Amar.
The German rendition features Glasperlenspiel, Maya Buskila performs with Clarkson in Hebrew, and Faouzia leads the star in the Arabic take on I Dare You.
"This is my favourite/hardest project that I've ever worked on," Clarkson shared in a statement.
"It has always been a dream of mine, as I grew up singing in different languages, to find that perfect song, with the perfect message, to connect us all globally and then record that song with several other artists around the world in their native languages."
Clarkson wanted to press ahead with the planned release of I Dare You because the message of inclusivity, love, and positivity is particularly poignant during the coronavirus pandemic.
"It's basically like, I dare you to love instead of fear, instead of hate," she explained on America's Today show on Thursday morning. "Just engage with people and engage with yourself again, and remember we're all a human race."
She continued, "We were going to shelve it for a minute, but it was planned to come out today and I thought, maybe people need this message today."
The Because Of You hitmaker premiered the music video for the single on Thursday's episode of her U.S. daytime series, The Kelly Clarkson Show, with the promo showing her performing virtually with her global collaborators.
