Selena Gomez hasn't been hit on very much since her split from Justin Bieber.

The 20-year-old actress-and-singer split from the teenage heartthrob in December after a two-year romance. 

The star discussed her romantic life in a new interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine, revealing there is one famous couple she really looks up to.

"I don't get asked out a lot,' she told the magazine's April issue. "It''s not like I''ve wanted to go out and look for someone. I''m not really good at that.

"To me, love is normal. Of course, you see Jay [rapper Jay-Z] and Beyoncé [Knowles] and you''re like, ''Oh, my gosh, they''re perfect for each other,'' but at the end of the day their love is just like everybody else's love.'

Despite her highly-publicised breakup the actress still expects to find romance, admitting to the publication that she is 'one of those girls'.

Selena confessed that some of her famous pals have also helped her keep the faith.

"Most of my friends believe in love,' she revealed. 'I went out with Katy Perry last night. She''s so fun and awesome, but it''s cool to see someone older believe in love too.

'She is all about it, and that''s how I will always be. I believe in stories like, ''Oh, I met him in Starbucks.''"

Before dating Justin, Selena had never dated anyone famous.

However, being romantically attached to a non-celebrity can be 'really hard and stressful' according to the star.

"My first boyfriend wasn''t in the industry and it all sort of started happening so I felt bad,' she shared.
