Michael Jackson's 'Bad' outfit is up for auction.
The leather jacket and trousers worn by the pop star in the iconic 1987 music video is expected to fetch more than $30,000 when they go under the hammer in California tomorrow (01.05.09).
The custom-made jacket boasts 11 gold police-style badges and dozens of silver buckles and crests.
It will be sold with the 50-year-old singer's tight leather pants and a flamboyant belt, featuring a Bad logo made up of hundreds of tiny crystals.
A spokesman for auction house Profiles, which will host the sale, said: "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get your hands on the most iconic costume in pop history.
"Michael originally presented these pieces to the Hollywood Guinness World Records Museum while being honoured there."
The 'Bad' video was an 18-minute epic directed by Martin Scorsese. It starred Jackson and a young Wesley Snipes.
Other celebrity items up for grabs at the auction include Marilyn Monroe's bathing suit, a purple outfit worn by Sir Elton John on stage and items belonging to Elvis Presley.
Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze pouch bag, John Lennon's dressing gown, Madonna's police hat and a James Blunt guitar will also be sold.
