Celine Dion says her son is a "miracle".
The 'My Heart Will Go On' hitmaker and her husband Rene Angelil, 68, are currently undergoing their fifth attempt at in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment in a bid to conceive a sibling for nine-year-old Rene-Charles - who she got pregnant with after seeking medical assistance - and despite being unsuccessful so far, are trying to stay positive.
Celine told the Miami Herald newspaper: "It's not a struggle. It's life. When you think about it, between you and me, Rene-Charles, my son, is a miracle child. For us, we were extremely lucky he came from the first take. Those are not normal odds. We got very lucky with that, so, for sure, when you try five times -- and this is the fifth try - people think there's something wrong but when you look at the odds, it's almost normal."
The 41-year-old star is about to release a feature-length documentary, 'Celine Dion Through the Eyes of the World', which chronicles her 'Taking Chances' tour.
Despite loving the movie, Celine admits the film footage was never intended to be made public and was just meant to be a personal document of her family life.
She explained: "We started bringing friends along to film for us, to bring memories back home. My mom is going to be 83 and my son is going to start school and have his own life and friends. Let's make the best of it and take the time and visit and see the world. It was fun as a daughter, a wife, a mom.
"We had the cameras with us 24/7 and I forgot that they were there. It was not something for us to share. It was something to bring home. It didn't take long for René to figure out there must be some amazing stuff in there."
