Natalie Imbruglia has said getting divorced gave her a newfound confidence.

The Australian singer said her split from musician husband Daniel Johns last year after five years of marriage prompted her to appear on Jack Osbourne's daredevil TV show.

She said she jumped at the chance to join Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack on Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie and try something new.

She said: "I would put that down to divorce. You're just not scared of anything. It's kind of liberating. So they were like, 'Do you want to free dive, do you want to climb a mountain, some real crazy things?' And I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah!' - and all my friends thought I was mad!
