Kylie Minogue's boyfriend 'pursued her like a lion'.

The singer was initially unsure whether she was ready for a romance with Spanish model Andres Velencoso following her split from actor Olivier Martinez.

A friend of the singer said: "Andres pursued Kylie like a lion. When she met Andres, she was 40 and hurting from the break-up with Olivier.

"For once, Kylie took several steps back. It was Andres who chased her and wouldn't let her go. This is a very different relationship for Kylie. She feels loved, adored and wanted."

Kylie has confirmed she is blissfully happy with Andres, adding she has never felt as content as she does at the moment.

She told Britain's Hello! magazine: "I feel relaxed, happy, excited and just totally content with my life. I'm having a good time. "I'm just doing things I never would give myself time to do. I'm finding my balance and I'm giving myself space just to be me.

"I feel good about everything in my life at the moment. I'm a very, very happy girl." Kylie, 40, and Andres, 31, met at a party thrown by burlesque star Dita von Teese last October. He moved into her London home in February.
