Rihanna and Zac Efron have reportedly been bonding over their love of '80s movies.

The two stars got to know each other recently when they were staying in the same hotel in Australia. They swapped numbers and have now struck up a close friendship.

'He's a little too clean cut for Ri ' who loves her bad boys ' but he is obviously gorgeous. And they have a lot in common,' an insider said. 'They're both singers and actors, they know what it's like to be hounded by the paps and, oddly enough, they both love '80s movies like The Goonies! They keep texting each other quotes from the film. It's so cute.'

It's thought Zac was wowed by Rihanna when they first met and couldn't believe how sexy she was.

The Barbados-born singer was recently linked to Ashton Kutcher too and is said to be having fun when it comes to her romantic life.

'You cannot imagine how much fun she's having right now,' a source told Look magazine. 'None of her friends have to imagine, because she's telling us all the time! She's got the sexiest men in the world falling at her feet ' and that now includes Zac.'
