George Michael splits from partner
George Michael and his long-term partner Kenny Goss have split up.

The singer opened up to concert goers during an emotional performance in Prague.

Although it had been rumoured that George and Kenny were no longer together, it is the first time that the 48-year-old has spoken publicly about it.

'n truth, Kenny and I have not been together for two-and-a-half-years,' he said. 't's time to be honest.

'My love life has been more turbulent than I've let on. I'm so sad about Kenny.'

The 51-year-old Texan businessman reportedly grew tired of George's troubled lifestyle during their 15 year relationship.

The former Wham! frontman also dedicated a song to Kenny called Where I Hope You Are.

George says that he deserved to be sentenced to eight weeks in jail after crashing his car into a photo shop in London in 2010.

' had a bill to pay and I thought that prison was a logical conclusion to a very long, dark chapter,' he wrote in the tour programme.
