Rihanna keen to go ahead with Cole duet
Rihanna is still interested in recording a duet with Cheryl Cole.

The British star has been rocked recently by the events surrounding her axing from the US version of television show The X Factor. But it has now been reported that Cheryl could be receiving some much needed good news. It's been claimed that Rihanna wants to go ahead with plans for a collaboration and is trying to arrange a time for them to meet up in a recording studio.

'Rihanna called Cheryl and told her she's going to call on all her contacts and they should do their planned duet sooner rather than later,' an insider told Look magazine. 'What's more, she reckons Cheryl should face the music and come to stay with her in LA ' she's determined to give her the amazing American experience she should have had all along."

Simon Cowell has been blasted by fans for allowing Cheryl to be cut from the judging panel of the new series. However, he insisted he was trying to protect her because she appeared 'uncomfortable' during her audition.
