Christina Aguilera treated five friends to a half price dinner
The pop star ' whose divorce from Jordan Bratman, the father of her three-year-old son Max, was finalised in April ' told her pals to order "whatever they wanted" at Hollywood eatery Off Vine because she was celebrating the huge ratings of her new TV show 'The Voice'.

The group ' including fellow 'The Voice' judge Cee Lo Green ' were touched by the offer, but quickly dissolved into laughter when the waiter said: "Don't forget . tonight is half-priced Monday! Everything on the menu is 50 per cent off."

But the pop star laughed off the incident and jokingly claimed she now has to watch what she spends because of her split from Jordan.

According to National Enquirer magazine, she told the group: "Hey, I have to watch my pennies these days. Now let's eat."

In their divorce, Christina and Jordan - who announced their separation last October after almost five years of marriage - agreed to share custody of Max and divided their assets according to their prenuptial agreement.

The singer-and-actress is now in a relationship with set designer Matthew Rutler, who she first met when she was shooting her movie 'Burlesque'.
