Celine Dion feels 'blessed' to have at least one child

The 'My Heart Will Go On' hitmaker - who has a nine-year-old son Rene-Charles with husband Rene Angelil – is trying not to pin too much hope on her fifth in vitro fertilisation (IVF) attempt and to focus on being content with the life she has.
The 'My Heart Will Go On' hitmaker - who has a nine-year-old son Rene-Charles with husband Rene Angelil – is trying not to pin too much hope on her fifth in vitro fertilisation (IVF) attempt and to focus on being content with the life she has.

She said: "There's something inside of me that says not to give myself that pressure, that it's the last time. We would love to expand our family. But honestly, I'm more than blessed with my son, he is everything to me. I'm more than fine with it.'

Celine is so close to Rene-Charles – who was also conceived after fertility treatment – that she allows the youngster to sleep in the same bed as her and her husband.

She joked to Britain's Hello! magazine: "I have my two boys with me, the dog that snores, a fish tank that bubbles, the pet rat Lionel that scratches – everybody's with mommy. There's a lot of action! It's not about beauty sleep anymore. When they're not there, you miss it so much."

Despite insisting she is happy with her family life, the 41-year-old singer isn't ready to give up on her dream of having another baby, even if the next IVF attempt doesn't work.

She said: "I'm going to try until it works. You do everything right, and you're careful and you rest."
